I got the advance reading copies for my collection, The Ant King & Other Stories in the mail the other day, from my fabulous publisher, Small Beer Press.

While there is an LJ feed of my regular blog, it isn't that satisfying: I don't see the comments, they disappear swiftly anyway, and you don't friend it by friending me. It would be awfully nice if there were a way to just automatically have posts to my MovableType blog crosspost here. Anyone know if that's doable? Maybe I'll look at the LJ API docs.
In the meantime, since LJ seems convenient for so many folks, I'll just try to crosspost here desultorily and intermittently... |

Biking to Noah's preschool this morning, after a long, dreamy, companionable silence, Noah says from the bicycle carrier, apropos of nothing:
